Russell's K9 Academy

Albert Russell has been amazing working with our dog! 3 years ago while living in Colorado for 22 years, we adopted a rescue dog at 10 weeks old. The litter left on a farm road in Kansas. He is a Lab/Pointer mix. We had a large fenced in property and our new dog had a great yard to run.When we moved to our townhome in Daytona Beach, our dog was not adopting well and was aggressive with other dogs. We interviewed a few trainers, but Albert came to our house assessed our dog and said he would need to have him for a month. My wife and I thought long and hard but decided to go through with it. BEST THING EVER! Our dog has learned so much with commands and he is much friendlier and not afraid of other dogs. He knows how to respect our space and well as his own and we now take him most places like the park or dog beach without many worries. Albert knows what YOUR DOG needs and can DELIVER what you want. If it's one night a week or weeks at a time with your dog and him, it is well worth it. Albert we are very greatful for what you have done for us. God Bless

We took our 6 mos old black lab to Russell’s K9. Romeo was jumping , play biting, and could never walk on a leash. And wouldn’t listen to a single thing we said. After training At Russell K9 he is the most well behaved , fun loving dog I have ever owned. I would recommend them with 10 stars if I could, Great job Al , thank you so much for working with Romeo. You have done wonders for him, and US. We will be seeing you again. Simply Amazing !!!!! And I know for a fact he doesn’t beat his dogs, trust me , with Romeos personality, we would have know. He loves the dogs he trains and you can see it by how the dogs respond to him ,all the while there tails are wagging away.

After just 1 visit, my very large, very bouncy Lab/Great Pyrenees is under control & finally "walkable". I've been to the chiropractor 3x from my dog's bouncing, pulling, dragging & yanking while walking. I assumed he'd outgrow the behavior, but as he got bigger & stronger, it only got worse. Called Russell's K9 academy & the problem is solved. I learned that the primary issue was that I needed to change my behavior in order for the dog to change his & if you follow what you are taught, it works beautifully. I now love taking my dog on outings & long walks every evening. The training has improved life for the dog & for my husband & I. I could not be happier with the results so far.

Albert was just who Jessie needed! At 75lbs, she was showing signs of both fear aggression and possesive aggression. In protecting me, who she saw as her possession, she was becoming aggressive towards other dogs and people. Albert doesn’t shy away from helping aggressive dogs. With a lot of work, she is now a sweet and loving dog who can interact safely with others. His compassion and love for misunderstood dogs allows for training of both them and their owners so they can live safely and happily together. Highly recommend!
