FirstBarkI did the 6-week beginner Puppy Program and added 4 private training sessions during the same period to get off the strongest possible start - my 3 month old puppy learned so much so fast. I am absolutely thrilled.

About S.A.M.S. Dog Training Center
All Ages-All Breeds Welcome! All training programs at S.A.M.S. are taught with Positive Reinforcement techniques. No shock collars, No prong collars, No choke chains, No fear or intimidation and absolutely No leash jerking. Our Head Trainer, Katherine McGill, is CPDT-KA (Certified Professional Dog Trainer-Knowledge Assessed). All the Trainers at SAMS are Certified Trick Dog Instructors, AKC CGC / S.T.A.R. Puppy Evaluators, APDT C.L.A.S.S. Evaluators and Penn Foster Career School-Dog Obedience Trainer/Instructors. We offer group classes and Private Training at our heated/air conditioned facility.

This training center and the owner/trainers are exceptional. I’ve taken my rescue dog Bella there for private sessions as well as group sessions. This training center and the owner/trainers are exceptional. I’ve taken my rescue dog Bella there for private sessions as well as group sessions. Kate is keen to identify Bella’s needs and makes sure she and I are both comfortable with her training and meeting Bella’s goals. Also in the group sessions, the trainer will adapt the lesson to allow the group to continue while at the same time focusing on a dog who may need more attention. They have helped Bella and I a lot ! Kate is truly invested in making sure we have the best outcomes and she has been flexible with adding extra time when needed. This is also a Sniff Spot with lots of room to run and toys/obstacles so the dog can play and get some great exercise. I recommend highly.

Went to SAMS several years ago and they really helped with my aggressive dog. Now I have returned to SAMS to give my new puppy every possible advantage. The staff is exceedingly knowledgeable and - even during group sessions - they give individual attention to dogs and their owners. I'm all fingers and thumbs during training, but they are patient and give constant, but gentle reminders about the little details that are so important during the training process. I highly recommend SAMS for a great experience for dogs and their owners on their path to a happy life together!
Went with a friend who has a dog with aggression issues after 1 class there is a huge difference in the aggression. Kate is very knowledgeable and really takes the time to explain things so that we humans can understand our dogs!!!! I plan on taking my 2 border collies to her for training
