Sadie's Rules K9 Training

Jess and her team were super detailed, professional, and clear with their goals for our 8 month old puppy Luca! I chose their services due to their strong emphasis on training their dogs on their property/home which was important to my family and I. Our biggest concern was sending him to a large franchise training facilitys that we heard terrible reviews about. We loved the updates on their Instagram stories and how they showed how they took him on hikes, play with other dogs, and in general still be his goofy self! We loved how Jess and her team interacted with Luca and even played fetch with the dogs there, it felt like he was at a second home instead of just a training facility! The skills and vocabulary they taught him there are super useful for our day to day life and it’s such a liberating feeling to know that he can be off leash and we can simply enjoy our hikes/walks with him without having to deal with pulling or eating things he’s not supposed to! My parents are getting older and I wanted them to go on relaxing walks with Luca without having to worry about losing control of him and getting hurt. Now every morning they take Luca on a walk with a sense of security and control! I have also noticed he is happier than ever since he can now completely release his energy on our walks which is the best feeling for all of us. I highly recommend this place, I strongly believe their services were a great long term investment for our family and Luca.

We cannot say enough good things about our incredible experience with Sadie’s Training. Our dog Kai, who is sweet but a high energy and intelligent hound mix with an attitude problem, came with a laundry list of issues and was in immense need of structure and discipline. Despite having him work with a trainer as a puppy, he was headstrong / defiant, had stranger danger with humans / resource issues with our older dog, and couldn’t go out with us in public due to anxiety / reactivity. We really needed help to ensure he could be safe and calm for us, our child, and our other dog, so we enrolled Kai in the 8-week program. From the start and through the program, Jess and the team were outstanding. Highly professional and personable, Jess gave us a lot of clarity around the program plan and communicated up to and during training. The social media helped us really understand what Kai was up to, and how his mindset / training were shifting. Jess even kept Kai for two additional weeks when he needed a little more time to work on mindset. In addition to addressing all the above issues mentioned, Kai is able to be an off leash dog (something we never imagined possible), knows to steer clear of our child at home, and has learned how to calm his anxiety when needed. It’s been about a month since Kai came home, and the changes are truly amazing. Though still a work in progress, Kai is doing extremely well, and has all the training he needs to be successful. Likewise, Jess’ coaching has given us the tools to ensure he is successful. She also has stayed engaged with us after the program to help answer questions / address any issues we run into, which is very much appreciated. We would highly recommend this program to anyone who is struggling with an anxious or reactive dog! Thanks so much to Jess and team!

It is hard to believe the transformation in our lovable but rambunctious Aussiedoodles Rooney and Daisy after going through the training program with Jess and David. They were sweet dogs but jumped on everyone, barked at people walking by, would run around the neighborhood if the gate was left open which made us concerned for their safety, and were absolutely the worst walkers making it downright miserable to try to walk them. We also weren’t able to take them on outings the way we would like because of their behavior. Fast forward to today and they calmly stay in place while people come in and out of the house. They wait for permission to exit doors, and they walk like so well that we can walk them at the same time and even let them off leash and they stay right at our side. The biggest win is that we can now take them with us to my daughter’s soccer games and they lay nicely on the sideline allowing us to watch the game and enjoy time with them out and about.
