Sadie's Rules K9 Training

Our red golden retriever, Vivian, started her board and train with Jess and David when she was 11 months old. Before Sadie's, Vivian never stopped moving. She jumped on people, dug holes in the back yard, pulled liked crazy on a leash, and chewed on and ate anything she could get in her mouth. We couldn't trust her outside a fenced-in area because she turned her ears off once "free"! I told Jess when she returned for boarding while we were on vacation that we knew that our experience with the "new" Vivian would be good, but we didn't know the change in her would be FABULOUS! We take her everywhere with us now. She goes to Lowe's and relaxes while her dad searches for the right screw (for however long it takes), she's been to a car dealership where she took a nap in a high-traffic showroom, and stayed in a down position for three hours! We take her to wineries where she runs on the lawn and then returns to us when called and relaxes next to our chairs. And she doesn't plow into our charcuterie as she did in the past! A friend of ours said this past weekend that Vivian seems happier and more content than she was pre-Sadie's. We agree! She is now a friend and a companion we love to hang out with. It is a joy to see her be her best self. Thank you, Jess, David, and the entire Schneiderman family for transforming our girl.

Life changing experience for our dog and family. Our shepherd mix rescue had reactivity towards almost everything and was very protective of me, to the point of biting others. The training was fabulous and teaching us how to rethink our relationship is making it sustainable. Jess is amazing, kind, patient and understands the challenges families face. Once I heard her reasoning, I was committed to following through. Our dog is so much more relaxed, confident and is eager to follow direction.

To say Jess and David saved my dogs life is not an exaggeration. My dog Levi bit a friend and was facing behavioral euthanasia. He is the sweetest boy but suffered from stranger danger and hyper excitability to people and dogs. We had tried a purely "positive/force free trainer" before coming to Jess, to address some of the fear he had, and after a year of training he only got worse. Jess saved my dogs life and I will be eternally grateful for her and the whole Sadies rules team. If you are frustrated with your reactive dog and feel helpless, contact them. This training has changed my relationship with my dog for the better and now we can do so many things I couldn't have even dreamt of. Maintaining the training and learning how to be a leader to me dog was hard for me at first and sometimes felt overwhelming but every day that I get to spend with my Levi makes the hard work worth it. A simple thank you to Sadies Rules will never be enough. Every day Levi gets to wake up, play with his ball, go for walks, trail runs, and fun adventures is all because of Sadies rules. He's got a new lease on life and we are taking full advantage!!! 100/10 recommend.

Can't say enough good things about Sadie's Rules. Jess and the team are extremely communicative, clear, and do a great job teaching both the dog and owner. Lucy is a high energy Lab; after finishing training, she is still herself, but our family now has the skills to help her manage her energy! She can focus in different activities, walk like a pro, and is way more enjoyable and safe to be around. We are so grateful and recommend Sadie's to all our friends and family with training needs!
