Jeff is the best bird dog trainer I know. I have been hunting with his dogs before too, and they find birds for us every time. Worth the money spent!
We send our dog Baxter here for some bird dog and obedience training. He back to us like a navy seal, and Jeff did it through love and positive training. Huge fan and highly recommend.

My Rainey is five years old and she is an excellent grouse dog. For her first four years of hunting, she would retrieve birds, but never to me. As a result of her hardheadedness, I have lost a few birds overtime. I reached out to Jeff of Sage Spring Kennels to get Rainey some force fetch training this past Spring. In about one month's time, Jeff was able to take this smart, but stubborn dog, and get her to retrieve to hand. More importantly, Rainey absolutely adores him, so I have no doubts that Jeff was kind and patient with her. I am looking forward to getting her into the grouse woods this fall. Jeff did an excellent job and I have no problem with recommending Sage Spring Kennels for anyone who wants to train and/or polish their gun dog.
Jeff is an amazing trainer. He is patient with the dogs he trains. Jeff knows what he is doing and he will get the desired result regardless of how stubborn your dog may be. I would recommend Jeff to anyone that needs professional help training their bird dog.
