Sam is amazing! I lost my alpha position while going thru a divorce and finally admitted I needed help. I found Sam thru a simple Google search and hit the jackpot. She has helped Stanley and me in so many ways. She's super patient, takes the time to explain the why not just "do this" type of training. She asks what you want to work on with your dog, so the training is super tailored to your needs. She's beyond patient. Sam takes the time to show you how to do something and then watches while you do it, offering corrections when needed. If something goes awry, she'll ask you what you think happened and why, before stepping in. Stanley sometimes likes to tug when going for a walk and she taught me how to walk him using just a flat collar, by changing how I leash him up for his outting. We no longer need the gentle leader or martingale collar. She noticed Stanley has weak back legs, so she did some research on how to strengthen his hind quarters and has been working with me to strengthen them. She's explained why he can't do certain things. We've finally graduated to being able to learn how to do some fun things. Sam will be teaching us how to do scent work. She pulls no punches and will tell you when you're wrong and why, so there's no trying to work through the "sugar coating", which I greatly appreciate. She's never mean or snarky about it, just matter of fact. I honestly can't say enough good about Sam. If you need help with your dog or simply want to learn how to do something new with them to further strengthen your bond like agility, herding, scent work, etc. - I'd give Sam a jingle. She's well worth it.
