The Scooter Dog Training Academy can help you train your dog to do just about ANYTHING!!!! We can also help you fix any behavior problems you may encounter. We teach basic through advanced obedience commands. We specialize in teaching household manners like housebreaking door manners and preventing behavior issues such as: jumping on people, pulling on a leash, stealing food, chewing, nipping, etc. We are also experts in fixing aggression issues of all kinds, including: lunging at people or dogs, guarding food and bones, protecting sleeping areas, difficulty with grooming, etc. With over 25 years experience, we know how to help you and your pet. We offer In-home behavior counseling and daily/board training.

She worked around our schedule with the training package we picked; she was available for extra help outside of the hour long training sessions too; she had suggestions and product suggestions that really made the extra difference for us. She brings her own dogs to help with the trainings too. We can take her anywhere with us without worrying, about her behavior or anyone mouthing off about our “ferocious breed.” Karen is extremely knowledgeable when it comes to the needs of different breeds; other dogs’ behaviors impacting your’s; practices to deter long term issues; local resources and places for puppers... can’t say enough good things about Karen and Scooter Dog Training!! 🐶

Karen is amazing. Growing up my mother always took care of our family pets. There was never any formal training. My husband never had pets growing up so we really didn't know what we were doing as dog parents. We have two goldendoodles. Our first doodle was 7 weeks old when we brought him home. He's very laid back and a good boy. We thought all dogs were that easy!...We were wrong lol! Our other pup is a rescue and needs a lot of direction. Karen has given us the tools to help her. She's showing us how to lead her! In two sessions we're already seeing a big improvement. When Sadie starts up with old bad habits ( jumping) it's because we're slacking on our homework! I look forward to learning more from Karen! I would highly recommend her.
