Sea Change Canine

My husband and I adopted a Catahoula and Australian Shepherd mix in August of 2020. We felt confident in our ability to train him with consistent positive reinforcement, but still had some concerns and gaps in our ability to train some questionable behaviors out of him. I did a quick search of trainers in the area and after reading reviews and checking out websites, we chose to contact Sarah. She responded graciously and eager to help pups adopted during this strange time for all of us and even though she wasn't hosting any classes or doing business as usual, she did accommodate us and our pup with short, socially distant, one-on-one sessions. We were only able to do two classes, but she stayed in contact with us before and after to give us feedback on our progress with him and offer more advice and support. We noticed a change in him during his first class! We applied everything that she taught us and tried our best to stay consistent with it, and his progress over the last month has been amazing. Sarah clearly has a dedicated passion for animals that is reflected in her kind and respectful advice and professional insight. I highly recommend Sarah as a trainer for any age and any breed of dog that you have. She is magic.

Sarah has given us the tools to handle the anxiety, shyness, and hormones of our teen dog. At the first class of Teen Angst, I came in feeling like I didn't know how to fully handle my dog in a room full of other dogs. Sarah immediately saw what our dog needed to stay calm, and instructed us to do so. At the last class, I left feeling like I had total control of my dog, with the tools to handle different situations and get his attention, no matter the circumstances. We will definitely be back for more classes, thanks so much Sea Change Canine!
