Seattle Board and Train

Our experience with Christine has been stellar! We completed a 1 week board and train and learned so much about our pups behavior, how to train for resource guarding, and overall tools for successful training sessions. Christine is a wealth of knowledge, communicative, and provided such undecided attention to our pup and our concerns. With the flexible options provided, you really can’t go wrong. 10/10 would recommend!

Christine has been an amazing help to our family! She does amazing work with dogs, and their human families! We have an 11 month Golden Retriever, Cali, who, while very sweet and loving, has a hard time relaxing and not becoming over-excited by things in the world. This makes for challenging walks and hard times meeting new people! We did a 2 week board and train where Christine was able to help Cali relax and learn the skills to help her remain calm when out in the world. She did amazing work with our dog but one of the things we appreciate the most is all of the information and advice she gave to us to help us better help and work with Cali! And to top it all off Cali loves her, Galen and running up and down the creek in the yard!

We are so happy we decided to bring our Aussiedoodle puppy Rusko to Christine at Seattle Board and Train! We first took Rusko to one of Christine's puppy socialization playgroups, after seeing how puppy-crazy and passionate Christine is about training, signed our energetic pup up for several half-day training sessions. We love Christine's data-driven positive reinforcement approach, and have been thrilled at Rusko's progress with each session! The video clips shared have been super helpful for our learning and promoting consistency at home. Christine is trustworthy and encouraging, but also honest about areas we've needed to focus on more to help Rusko mature into a well-rounded, human- and dog-friendly companion. Of course, Rusko always has the best time at Christine's, and comes home happy and ready for a nap! We'd highly recommend her for anyone looking to socialize and train their pups.

Christine was great! I never thought my daughter would be able to enjoy our new puppy due to the puppy biting. Only 5 days with Christine (board and train) and the constant biting was gone! And on top of that, my daughter, through working with Christine, became much more confident around other dogs. Our Riley was also not socialized to to COVID and was quite afraid of the bigger dogs. By the end of that week, she was best friends with a huge dog! I guess the key thing with Christine is that she really cares about you and your dog. She wants the best for all of you and helps you get where you need to be.

Our Aussie puppy, Millie, LOVES Christine. Christine helped Millie with a number of issues, primarily learning how to relate to other dogs after missing out on socialization during quarantine. Millie was scared of dogs but also interested in playing, and so her signals were all mixed up. Christine helped her calm down and build confidence with other dogs through board and train visits as well as carefully curated adolescent puppy playdates. The huge outdoor space made these interactions more comfortable and fun. I cannot believe the change in Millie since working with Christine. She is so confident with other dogs now and loves to meet them and play. Christine's wealth of experience and knowledge was evident and she explained things in such helpful ways. I am a first time dog owner and was feeling pretty out of my league trying to train an Australian Shepherd. My own confidence has grown tremendously since working with Christine.
