Seattle Family Dog Training

The dog we started with versus the dog we ended with over three training sessions with Sean was just completely different, in the best way possible! While the foundation Sean helped us lay out will take several months to grow upon, we were lost in our training without him. He immediately picked up on our dogs needs and the issues in our training, and gave us incredible tools and resources to work with to help mitigate our problems. I'm really excited to continue working with Sean in the future :)

I adopted a young 70-pound Labrador and soon found myself in trouble with 2 difficult problems: I could not stop her from pulling hard on the leash, and I could not stop her from over-reacting on walks when even just seeing another dog across the street. I feel quite lucky that I found Sean because through his training, I learned how to solve those 2 problems. My dog is now calm around other dogs, and I can visit my local bakeries with my dog, and she stays by my side and ignores other dogs. The training is practical and effective and encourages gentle interactions with your dog based on solid behavioral theory. Sean is a great teacher with tons of experience and if you do your homework and work with your dog daily, you’ll be able to overcome whatever behavioral challenges you face.

After completing multiple obedience classes, my 8 month old lab mix Tank and I needed a little extra help. I'm so glad that we found Sean. His training philosophy of building a strong relationship between human and dog really resonated with me. He is very generous with his time and knowledge. After every lesson we are assigned homework and Sean follows up to see how it's going and give tips/guidance. Tank has progressed quickly and he is just a joy to be around. I highly recommend working with Sean, it is so worth it!!!
