Sensitive Dog

So far, Julie at Sensitive Dog has exceeded my expectations. She really took time to understand our dog’s personality and behavior, and her relationship with each member of our household. We left feeling empowered and optimistic. Our dog left happy and tired. Excited to work with the techniques and activities we learned to help our dog be her best self. Also, Julie and Darcie were so kind, helpful, and patient through the whole booking process. I am so glad I chose to go with them!

Highly recommend Sensitive Dog! We unexpectedly got an untrained senior greyhound mix. He was restless, reactive, and overwhelming to our other pets. Rather than needing to return him to the Rescue, Julie helped create a positive path forward for us. Focusing on better food/eating habits and teaching us leash control, basic commands and training, our household has been able to recover and provide a safe home for all its members. The work continues but it's been such a relief to know how to proceed. Five big fat stars from us-- plus five more!

We have been so pleased with the progress our English Shepherd/Border Collie puppy has made under Julie's coaching. We used another training service prior to finding Sensitive Dog. Whereas the other trainers had one method that they use on all of the dogs they work with, Sensitive Dog reads the dog and then implements the correct tools to facilitate communication. Before Sensitive Dog, our 8 month old puppy was frustrated and unhappy. He couldn't be trusted around our kids or to have any freedom in the house. We were constantly training him, but we weren't getting anywhere. Julie opened the doors of communication and after only four visits, our dog is happier and able to be a polite family member. Our neighbors are amazed at the transformation, and his progress has been a big help for this family. I totally recommend Sensitive Dog!
