Julie is phenomenal! She is kind, articulate, present, and asks all the right questions. She gave us the necessary tools and training to address our dog’s behavior, who has an alpha personality and can be reactive to other animals. Our puppy immediately responded to the training efforts prescribed by Julie, proving that her approaches are effective. We can’t say enough positive things about Julie and her program. We highly recommend her services to anyone in need of counseling for their dog - she is just what we needed and made us feel comfortable from the start!

I had a great experience working with Julie. She is incredibly disciplined and takes her work very seriously. She listened and took the time to understand all my concerns and priorities. Training is more for the owner than the dog, and she never once made me feel like I was failing or silly for getting things wrong. It gave me more confidence to keep working with my dog— something I haven’t felt with other trainers I've worked with in the past. The 4-week program was eye opening, and both my dog and I have benefited tremendously. Julie is thorough, patient, and always follows up to make sure my questions are answered. She has helped me better connect with my dog and left us with great tools to keep progressing. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a very knowledgeable, experienced, and supportive trainer! Julie was wonderful to work with and helped up find so many new strategies to work with our dog, Domino. We now feel more confident and aligned on using commands, handling and psychology of our pup. Thanks to you, Julie, for the dog therapy!
Sensitive Dog turned my rescue from leash aggression to "she could be a therapy dog." That was 15 years ago. I'm back with my new rescue, and it's made a huge difference right away. Julie's deep understanding of dogs and how to get them to *think* is totally different from other places I've been to.
