We are on our second service dog with Service dogs of New Mexico\Academy of canine excellence. The program is thorough and the trainers are kind and attentive stuffing us through each piece of the process. Both of our service dogs have changed the lives of my children and we are forever grateful for this company.
This team does an amazing job and educating and informing the public of the duty and importance of service animals which are a crucial part of many peoples lives. They also make it known the privileges and laws service dogs hold as a means to keep us safe. They are more than needed and appreciated.
I wouldn’t give this place a 1 star if that was an option. The owner took my info and application, had us go to an orientation which wasn’t at the time given, and then no one followed up with me. I wouldn’t give this place a 1 star if that was an option. The owner took my info and application, had us go to an orientation which wasn’t at the time given, and then no one followed up with me. I am a veteran and I’m sure they get money for having me on their list. I was super disappointed after several attempts to get started with no response. I don’t know why they had trainers from another company at the orientation either?
This is one of the best training centers in the country. Certainly the best in New Mexico. They're the most well prepared and resourced. Their Director is extremely knowledgeable, support and available to assist with and help you navigate the ADA for any individual needing guidance. Please give yourself and your k9 companion the gift of training at Service Dogs Of New Mexico.
