The puppy play group is for puppies who are still receiving their vaccines and aren't fully immunized. The space is cleaned with a solution that kills bacteria and viruses including Parvo, before the puppy playtime. Socialization is important in a dog's development. We are in the Maple Leaf area.

Sharp Dogs Seattle offers board and train for small dogs (around 20 lbs or less). They stay in the comfort of Julie's home. They'll have daily training sessions based on your goals. All training uses fear-free methods. After the stay ends, you'll have a training session with your dog.

Fantastic trainer! I got the 5 session package and in that time learned all the basics for getting my fairly rowdy shepherd/husky rescue in line. Fixed problems with his biting, gained a lot of tools in how to train in general, taught him basic behavior, got loose leash walking training, and received many tips/tricks/suggestions for a happy and healthy dog. Will be scheduling some more sessions soon.
Julie helped us with our new pup Zoey last year. She was wonderful in helping us understand Zoey's behavior and training us as well :) We learned how to read Zoey's non verbal and verbal cues and how to communicate with her. She is our first dog so Julie's guidance was very helpful in setting the stage for our relationship with Zoey. Thanks, Julie!

Julie has been working with us to help out our rescued chihuahua Tete to overcome her excessive barking and aggressiveness/lack of confidence. During our sessions Julie provided us with different techniques and at home exercises to help Tete become more zen. Julie also coached us on handling special situations such as plane trips and taking our dog to stay in my parents house (she pictured while my mom pet her!!!). Now that Tete is more confident and our human-dog communication has improved we are able to do activities that before were just impossible. Tete loves to attend her sessions and appreciates all the training treats :) she gets for being a dedicated student. we are still working with Julie on socialization now that Tete is less afraid of the world. Overall the cognitive behavioral approach + positive reinforcement Julie uses has been very effective with our dog challenges
