She's a Keeper Dog Training

We recently had Lilah complete the board and train program and could not be more happy with the results. She come back a significantly better behaved dog and it was obvious when she returned that she was well taken care of. The facility is clean and well organized and all the staff are very hands-on. We were updated daily with videos showing her progress and took comfort in watching her being well-cared-for. Although the whole group came together to work on her, Jackson was the real star! His videos with her were very informative and when he came to drop her off he was able to teach us everything she learned and made sure to review it carefully to make sure we understood. He truly seems to love her and care about her progress and was very knowledgeable. It was well worth the money and we could not recommend them more.

She’s a Keeper is the best dog training and boarding facility ever. It is well over an hour away from our home but they are seriously that amazing that we will always choose them whenever possible. It is definitely an investment with board and train but when I say it’s 100% worth it, I mean…I can’t even express how much it is worth it. All the staff are friendly and incredible with the dogs. They take such an amazing approach and make sure to keep owners updated and involved in what is happening, as well as following up to help you make sure the training sticks at home. Our first experience was our 100lb bernese mountain dog who came back with impulse control I had never witnessed from her, and happy as can be. I was able to walk her easily with the tools they gave me. We had done local training classes before, but nothing we did was working, even with weeks of consistency. I was 7 months pregnant at the time and it was a nightmare. It was getting to the point where I couldn’t walk her without the risk of her pulling me down or me having to let her go - neither of which are good options. When we got our second dog, we knew without hesitation that he would be going for a board and train. He is actually a very easy dog mostly so I am most excited to have him off-leash trained. Any future dog we get will 1,000% also be attending their program. My only complaint is I wish they were closer to us! Lol

Without question Jo is a dog whisper! She helped us with every aspect of our training. Anytime we had either a behavioral problem or didn't understand how to craft a proper training strategy to deal with a specific quirky issue, like our dogs hatred of the stairs in only our home, she was there to help us and our young silver lab. She was there to help guide us with leash skills, countering pulling, improving recall and was able to build confidence in our lab as we worked alongside Jo. As a result we are now able to go on walks with no pulling, hikes off lead in local conservation land and in the mountains, and playing fetch in the backyard is a joy for us and Lola!

Our experience with the She’s a Keeper team has been nothing short of phenomenal! We adopted our 4 year old lab/retriever mix Sophie from a southern Lab rescue last fall. With 4 young kids at home we really wanted to ensure that her integration into our family was safe and supported. Jo was an absolute dog (and kid, BONUS) whisperer! I rave about her work with rescues to anyone who will listen! We did some home lessons with Jo and Sophie also completed a board and train this spring. Sophie came back to us an exemplary canine citizen. Her off leash recall is perfect and she is a pro out and about with our busy family. We can take her on off leash hikes, to our kids sports games and she’s bombproof. We are so happy with all the support we’ve received from Jo, Jackson, Veronica, Summer and the entire SAK team!
