I adopted two small terriers from a shelter many years ago. They were both psychological disasters who required a lot of work. My regular vet said that if I had not adopted them, he felt sure they would have been euthanized for their behavior. Well, I am very stubborn and loyal. I did everything I could to help those puppers, including getting help from Sheila. She only had to come to the house twice, but she gave me an immense amount of extremely helpful support and tips, and she was generously available by email and phone. She is smart, kind, supportive, and I loved her non aversive techniques. Both Banksy and Bappi developed into great little doggies, and they became great big brothers to two baby shih tzus, Bubba and Birdie, who needed a family. It was a blast. And this little pack brought incredible joy to my elderly father, especially after he moved in with us. Sheila helped make this all happen, and I am forever grateful to her.
