We sent our Springer Spaniel to Shelmar when she was nine months old for the four week training. We could not have been more pleased. (FYI: This was not training for hunting. This was obedience.) Annie has been the best companion due to her training. We get compliments on her obedience all the time. She has never once jumped on anyone, she waits to go through a door until you tell her, she goes and lays down on command, as well as all the basic commands you expect. My nephew took his six-month old Doodle to Shelmar and it completely transformed the pup. His dog is one of the best trained dogs I know. If you have any doubts, don’t!! Just send your pup to Shelmar and you will have an amazing companion that everyone loves!!

We took our 13 week old German Shepherd pup for the 3 week obedience training recently. It was definitely worth it and our pup now has a great foundation of training to continue to build on. He now heels very well for even a young pup, and other basics such as sit, wait for a door, place he now does really well. The kennel has lots of room for training and its very personalized. Martin also took the time to answer the tons of questions we had via email and in person. The training also included training for us, on how to keep a structure and continue to reinforce the training our pup now has. We would definitely come here again.
