I got a large mixed breed in November, Timmy. So very much a puppy with all the worst traits: nipping, digging, eating everything, barking, counter surfing, pulling on the leash… any “bad” habits he had them- and I was not good at breaking these habits. I was at the end of my literal and proverbial rope. My last ditch effort was training. I picked Shelmar because I loved That it was multiple weeks of hands on training with skilled trainers. They also had acres of land so he wouldn’t be locked in kennel for multiple hours a day. When I picked Timmy up after 2 weeks, I was worried. I knew he’d be good there but I was concerned maintaining the lessons when we got home. Well we have done multiple walks, met and interacted with new people, and had days both at home and when he’s been left in his kennel for a few hours. Timmy had been amazing! I’ve been consistent with the instructions Martin gave in our “going home” lesson and Timmy has responded so well. Very happy I went with Shelmar!

Martin helped our 9 month old Scottish Terrier tremendously. We definitely see a change in Chuck's energy. Chuck has no problem with following basic commands and I now love to walk him around the neighborhood vs. he walking me! I had to come to reality that Chuck wasn't going to come back to us magically fully trained, but what Martin did with Chuck was truly magic. Our little dog Theo was in desperate need of some guidance, but we actually found out that it wasn’t him - it was us! Theo stayed at the facility for 3 weeks and came home a new man. Martin and Shelly are astoundingly helpful and brilliant at what they do. Martin guided us through some Owner Training and we now feel more comfortable with helping Theo understand his role in our family. Martin took a terroristic shelter dog and turned him into our golden boy! I am forever grateful to them for their help and I highly recommend their facility. It’s clean, open space, and safe for your dogs, and Theo made a friend that I’m sure he misses! Thanks again Martin and Shelly - you are great and I can’t wait to read your book!

Shelly and Martin are the best at training and will treat your dog like part of their family! Their facility is a dog vacation resort, full of fun for the dogs and your pup will be in good hands.
