So beyond happy with my dog Brooklyn’s training! This was my first time sending a dog to boarding or any kind of training, and Brooklyn’s first time being away from me for more than a day or two—so it’s safe to say I was definitely nervous about sending him away. Thankfully, I had met Stephanie a few years ago and had always thought her dogs were so well-behaved. I knew there was nobody else I would trust to watch my dog. During drop-off, she was helpful and thoughtful about our goals, and she made sure to explain everything before I left. My dog can be nervous and shy, especially around new people, so I didn’t know how he would do in a program like this. My biggest fear was that he’d be scared or upset while at training…but when I picked him up, he looked AMAZING! He seemed like he really liked Stephanie and was comfortable in his environment too which made me happy to see. He was so excited to see us and was incredibly obedient during our lesson—still his same sweet personality, just much more respectful and attentive! I really appreciated how Stephanie not only went over the training but also talked with me about how to support my dog’s emotions and personality in our daily routine. She gave great advice and clear details about using his training in public to help him stay happy and build confidence. The best part? When we stopped for lunch after leaving, someone even complimented how good he looked and how well he was walking on the leash!

Stephanie and her staff are the gold standard for canine care and will be our choice for all future needs. From our initial inquiry to post exit training, Stephanie consistently offers prompt replies, expert advice, and RESULTS. With two young goldendoodles getting use to each other, and after 3 weeks of training, the entire family now is much more balanced in our daily routines. Patches and Jaxx clearly learned what is expected with the use of commands and their recall is phenomenal! They have been home with us now for a month after their training. Results we now enjoy and are just simple habits include: Place (going to their space while we have company), Off (no more jumping up to greet people, no more counter surf or getting on furniture), Heel (no more pulling on the leash), Out (immediately drops what is in their mouths) Come, Sit, Stay. Also, our doodles no longer have the habit of dashing out the front door. When we approach the front door, they follow us and go to a Sit position, thank you, Stephanie! It's truly amazing Patches and Jaxx have been taught how to interact with us in a way that brings harmony (and not stress). We are all so happy that we and the doodles now know our roles!
