We found Dave and Shiloh K-9 Obedience Training and Boarding Center earlier this year when we brought home a new puppy and needed help. Dave was a godsend for us and for our Coco. We highly recommend his boot camp for new puppies. Just this past week we boarded both dogs for 5 days while traveling and asked for some “tune up” training, especially for greeting at the door and out on walks. The dogs loved it and show much improvement. Dave trained us as well so we know how to continue and reinforce the training they received. Dave is the best and we highly recommend him.

This is for the public most of these one star reviews are from people that have no idea of the business and have been misinformed by the dog owners and had never paid for his services, and did not know how there dogs really where with others ( you turned your dog into a weapon that will protect you from any threat the dog thinks as a threat), and for the people who go to the one star reviews to check businesses. And when you bring a dog in it isn't a gerente the dog will be better when this business has worked with them, it just means whatever this business tried to do to help the owner and the dog didn't work because A the dog is too stubborn, aggressive or skidish for it to work with them and the owners, if the dog isn't aggressive then the owner will be told what they should do, or/and B the owner disregards Davids advice and does what they please with there dog, and it's best for people to get an real life example for people to understand how dangerous things can be, like having a blanket cover there cage could cause the dog to end up hanging itself or if it's in the cage the dog could chew it up and choke on it or it gets stuck in there stomach or the intestines

I boarded my 8 year-old Akita for 5 days, who had never been away from me before, and isn't used to interacting with strangers. I was a little bit nervous about leaving her, but they were so good with her. I got daily pictures of her and a video. She looked very relaxed and happy, even showed pictures of her being petted. I would never have any doubts about taking her there again. This is a picture of her getting love from one of the staff members.

As a retired hospice chaplain who volunteers in a hospital, I thought it might be nice to have my dog Poco be a therapy dog and make visits together. I tried for months using books, YouTube, and emailed lessons to train my Maltese with no luck. It only took 4 hour-long sessions plus me working with Poco at home 20 minutes a day for him to be perfectly trained and pass all the tests to be certified today! Dave is fantastic, not only training me how to train Poco in a manner that worked, but how to keep him safe, what to put in a doggie first aid kit, and other tips. Poco loved his trainings and got excited every time he saw where we were. I can't say enough good things about "Uncle Dave" as he refers to himself with the dogs. 😀 The picture is Poco doing a good "down stay" with a dog he had just met when he'd never been around another dog before.
