Helped us see problem areas and why our pup had been displaying certain behaviors! 100% recommend! Side note for thoes who are shopping for trainers, these people don't sugar coat! They tell you what they also expect of you and what you can expect from your pet if you don't heed the advice givin!

My beautiful dog King Beowulf came to us early in 2019 after being rescued during the Polar Vortex (-30 temps). His broken, worn down teeth are a constant reminder of the fact that he had been on a chain his whole life, starved and abused. He was desperate for a family that could handle him and after bouncing around to foster families, he landed in our Forever Home and our long-term commitment began in March of 2019. Beowulf has a heart of gold, however he just had no idea how to behave and even the basic commands were difficult for him to maintain. We were doing our very best with him, but he was getting worse on his walks and he even had two incidents with other dogs who challenged him. He was turning into a liability for our family and my husband began to resent him because he was just completely out of control. When I brought him to David, I knew that Shiloh was our last hope for Beowulf. We hired trainers and worked tirelessly to get through to him, but we were all lost in translation. That is where David comes in - he is fluent as a Dog Behaviorist and can bridge the enormous gap between dogs and their owners; David is absolutely a Lifestyle Coach as YOU the owner are also being trained. I noticed Beowulf’s improvement immediately, after the first week of training but I could also see that David and his assistant Maddy had a lot of work to do with him. David reminded me how very important it was for me to speak to Beowulf gently and in more of a “coaching” tone than the domineering tone I had learned from other trainers – this alone was the foundation of a much stronger level of trust between myself and Beowulf. By the time I picked him up, he was far more confident because he knew exactly what was expected of him. I have included a photo of he and Maddy training because it shows how confident and relaxed he was at Shiloh. Now - Beowulf even seems a lot happier at home and more playful, which was the most important element that was missing. He is far more calm and is just an absolute joy to be with. I can walk him confidently through our neighborhood now and he even pees and poops on command which is helpful during the low temps we get in Michigan during the winter months! You, the owner, MUST follow every single detail in training. I cannot stress this enough. When you get home with your dog you realize that this is just the beginning of a lifetime commitment to your very best friend in the whole world. THANK YOU SO MUCH, DAVID!!
