Simple Dog Training

My dog Roxy did a 3 week training program with Simple Dog Training, and I cannot recommend Jamall enough! He helped with everything from leash pulling, basic commands and focus to off-leash training, recall, platform work, house manners, and appropriate behavior around children and other animals. More than anything, he helped turn my dog into the perfect little family dog but also a phenomenal side kick for me as I work with my horses and do a lot of hiking and traveling. Her recall is now fantastic, she responds so well to commands, and he quickly figured out exactly what motivates her, food! What really sets Jamall apart is how genuinely he loves what he does. So many dog-training programs feel overly commercialized and charge a fortune for a non-personalized experience, but Jamal’s approach feels personal, flexible, and completely centered around the dogs and making them happier. Most importantly, it was obvious how much he genuinely loved and cared for his own animals, and my dog. My dog unexpectedly came into heat while she was training with him and experienced some minor complications while I was away. Jamall handled everything beautifully. He kept her safely separated from the other dogs, took her to the vet when needed, managed the situation professionally, and communicated with me consistently throughout the entire process. Knowing she was with someone who cared for her as more than just a client’s dog gave me so much peace of mind. Jamall is knowledgeable, trustworthy, communicative, and truly passionate about his work. I’m incredibly grateful for everything he did for both my dog and our family!

I have been working with Jamall for my motley crew of four dogs (two in particular). One is a bossy Aussie and the other a scared of EVERYTHING lab mix. Jamall has been great! He tailors training to fit each of their specific needs and personalities. He shows up on time, is communicative, accessible, and friendly. Training is helping to bring much more calm to our household. Would definitely recommend!
