Simply Lead Dog Training and Leashes

I have loved my experience working with Brian. As a first time dog owner, I was caught reading so many things trying to raise my Labrador Retriever. When I found Brian on Facebook, and learned what he was all about, I wanted to see how he could help me and my dog. His calm demeanor and expertise has really impressed me and my dog, and I’m fortunate for him and his services. My lab is a happy boy, and with that comes alot of energy, which leads to pulling on the leash, and having a hard time settling. Brian has worked with him and me to learn how to tackle those things, and we were seeing results fast. Brian has been a great addition to our training routine, and I will definitely keep using him for guidance!

If you would have told me 7 months ago that my dog, Nala, would be able to be in a public place without reacting and lunging at people, strangers able to pet her and/or give her a treat, successfully started off leash training with e collar, and trusting my dog to make good decisions within all of 7 months I would have told you that I would have a better chance at getting struck by lighting. After 7 months of consistent and quality training with Brian my very reactive dog is now able to do those things. Nala used to be very protective over me and would lunge, growl, and maybe even bite someone if they got too close to me. She started to display signs of reactivity around 3 months old due to improper socialization with people, places, dogs, and things. Nala would react to anything and everything that she was unfamiliar with including bushes, flags, people, and animals. Brian was very real with me in the very beginning and told me Nala was going down a very dangerous path and if I did not put in the work for her she would only get worse. Brian guided me and taught me so many effective techniques to help me reach and surpass my goals with Nala. Brian was always there for me when I reached out with issues and never left me in the dark about anything. He even went to Home Depot with me to show me how to properly socialize her in a store(free of charge by the way). Brian taught me how to properly socialize my dog with people, places, and things and that going slow is faster. Having realistic expectations and going slow with her made this process go by really fast. The amount of progress I have had with Nala is astonishing. I thought this amount of progress would only be achievable within 3/5years of training and we were able to do it within 7 months!! I learned that If you go too fast with training things will fall apart and be frustrating for everyone involved including your dog. Trust me I had to learn that lesson a few times the hard way even though Brian gave me the answers from the very beginning! Brian’s training is hard to find because he doesn’t teach the dog that they HAVE to obey no matter what and they have no choice in it he teaches the dog to make the right decision. Dogs who are taught to make that right choice are better trained dogs than those who are just trained to strictly obey in MY opinion. Finding a trainer who is there for you, teaches you proper technique, gives you effective resources for your training , and is not in it just for the money is hard to find. I am so glad that I found Brian 7 months ago to help me with my reactive pup. I trust him 1000% with Nala. I take her to his daycare twice a week for socialization and training and that has tremendously helped Nalas progress! Trust me Brian is the right trainer for you and your dog!
