Y'all have no idea the struggles we've been through with our new rescue pup, and Shuli literally solved two big ones in an extended weekend board and train. Context: every time we got ready to take our pup on a walk, he went bonkers with over-excitement. Then, when we were on the walk, he would try to go after cars. It was mentally and physically exhausting, and just so stressful. Shuli was able to basically stop our pup from doing the car thing, and showed us how to manage the over-excitement. I just took our pup for the first walk back home and it was the most relaxed walk I've ever had with him! Shuli's experience and ability to read dog behavior are seriously unmatched. Shuli also addressed the issue of our pup being overly excited when we come home from errands or work (our pup has some pretty bad separation anxiety) and has given us some tools and instructions for helping him calm down when we come through the door. This is our second board and train with Shuli, and it's been the best method for addressing our pup's particular concerns. Plus our pup (both of them!) absolutely adores Shuli.

I loved having my dog stay here! I was set to board at a different place but they told me that my dog was too nervous with the one male on their staff and she would need 3 days of dog care before boarding would be accepted so I had to scramble for another boarder and this place was my saving grace! My dog was instantly comfortable at their facility and the staff was very accommodating to my travel schedule for pick up/drop off. Great communication from the company and clearly their staff cares for these dogs.

I believe Shuli must be related to Mary Poppins. Sensing an escalating emergency in which I needed support, he arrived at my home the very day I scheduled a consultation, not with a carpet bag filled with magical objects, but with infinite knowledge, uncannily accurate intuition, a wonderful sense of humor, and and an obvious love for both dogs and their humans. I am not sure whom Shuli saved--me or the hyperactive, freakishly intelligent, and adorable "Daisy the Goldendoodle," I had adopted four days prior. Shuli has a phenomenally generous and kind spirt. He does not judge; however, he will share his expertise in a straightforward manner, which is very refreshing. Shuli is so committed to your success as a dog owner and to the happiness of your dog, he will go out of his way to ensure it. As Shuli knows so much about various breeds and what makes them tick, working with him will seem like a treat for both you and your dog. My only complaint about Shuli is that, like Mary Poppins, he eventually had to leave.

Sit Down & Beyond changed our lives! We and our reactive, anxious pup worked primarily with Shuli for about 6-7 months, consistently, and she is now part of the Experts program. Shuli is incredible, as is Jessica and the rest of the team. Our dog loves them all, has made so many dog friends, and has come so so far in her behavior and training. Thank you so much, SD&B!

They've been really great with my fearful and anxious dog. We did private training with Shuli and work with Jessica and the rest of the trainers for day training. They really went out of their way to get Bela comfortable. We went from her crying and clawing not to go in to bolting through the gate every time I drop her off. One day she won't want to leave!
