Sit Happens

*update* We boarded our two 5½-month-old Huskypoo puppies with Vitoria from Sit Happens and could not be more grateful. She has been their trainer since 8 weeks old and truly cares for them as if they were her own. Vitoria sent daily photos and videos, giving us complete peace of mind while on vacation. When one of our pups hurt her paw, Vitoria immediately notified us, monitored her closely, and even iced it until she was better. That level of love and attentiveness is something you won’t find at a typical boarding facility. Professional, caring, and amazing communication — we trust Vitoria completely and highly recommend her. Vitoria from Sit Happens is a talented and knowledgeable dog trainer. In just one visit, we worked on “leave it,” “sit/stay,” and feeding behaviors. During our second session, we focused on “drop it,” the recall command (“come”), continued improving feeding behaviors, and practiced waiting and sitting at the open front door. We even introduced the “down” command today! Vitoria brings an amazing calmness and kindness to her no-nonsense training style. My puppies are high-energy and only a two months old, yet in just two sessions I’ve seen incredible improvement in their behavior and obedience. We’ve had two dog training sessions with Vitoria for our 5-month-old puppy. Early on, she observed that our older dog had some non-desirable behaviors that our puppy was picking up (mostly barking and fear when anyone approaches the house and also on walks). She then worked with us on these behaviors and also on basic obedience for our puppy. We’ve already seen SO much improvement and feel more confident in how to handle these situations so our dogs feel confident. We’re looking forward to continuing our training and having our pups join Sit Happens play groups. Highly recommend!

I cannot recommend Vitoria from Sit Happens highly enough. She was able to very accurately assess the relationship between my somewhat fearful and reactive rescue dog and myself. With her clearly presented instruction and guidance, my dog is becoming a more relaxed, confident, and happy companion and family member. Furthermore, her communication is excellent.
