Sit Happens Dog Training

Aundria is AMAZING! We are so lucky that she was on the other end of our desperate call to Sit Happens. She intently listened to the issue we were having (major leash pulling) and my concerns. She was so responsive and quick to assess our situation, identified the issue, and found a solution that worked beautifully for us. She was so kind, gentle, and patient as she worked with us and our fur baby. You could really tell how knowledgeable she is about dogs and their training. I'm so grateful for Aundria and highly recommend her!

My husband and I just finished our 5 week training with Keith and it was great! We have a very stubborn and energetic 7 month old Chihuahua/Parson Russell/Rat Terrier puppy. Keith individualized our training for our home and work situation and we couldn’t be more pleased at the results we have seen in such a short amount of time. We now have the skills and tools we need to become confident pet owners. The experience was well worth the money and we highly recommend Sit Happens.

Sept. 2023: Frank (from Sit Happens) has helped us train our dog and in 4 weeks we've seen an enormous change take place. We rescued Brandy (a shepherd mix) from a shelter and knew very little about her. We found out she was very reactive to other dogs making it next to impossible to take her for walks. She also jumped up on us and mouthed our hands and arms to the point my wife had to wear long sleeved shirts during the summer to prevent bruises and scratches! After only 4 weeks Brandy is like a different dog. She rarely jumps and mouths us and she is beginning to relax when meeting other dogs (and cats and people). It was not that difficult to spend 15 minutes 3 times a day training and I would recommend Frank 100% and feel that it was well worth the price. Update Nov. 2023: We lost confidence in Frank and his ability to train and correct Brandy's leash reactivity. Frank had offered to give us a free training session on how to use a prong collar but told us we may just need to avoid other dogs if possible. We decided to take Brandy to a board and train trainer in Colfax for 3 weeks. We've had her home for about a week and I'm amazed. She can simply walk past other dogs without issue. I still think Frank is worth the money for training dogs all the basic commands and getting the foundation down. He was great and offered to go above and beyond his initial commitment which says a lot about his business ethics. But we are happy we took Brandy to someone who specialized in behavioral issues to resolve her issue of leash reactivity.

After a recent fall, walking my dog.. I signed up Frank & Andrea to help me with my Zelda, to walk without being distracted by other dogs, and people. I felt the fear of falling again, so hired Sit Happens, to work with both Zelda & myself, after 5 weeks of consistent commands, we passed the hurdles, and I have more confidence, with her, as she does me. Thank you Frank and Andrea, you are wonderful trainers… I’ll miss you, but now we can just be forever friends!💕 Marcia&Zelda

Our dog Chloe (A Goldendoodle) has high anxiety and is a very active puppy. I have had many dogs in my life but never experienced the issues I have with Chloe. I called Frank from Sit Happen and he came to our home and things changed from his first visit. Frank is so calm and patient. He has a gentleness about him that Chloe seemed to really respond to. Frank and I worked together for about five weeks and Chloe is doing so much better. We can actually go for a walk outside! Thank you Frank for all of your patience and for providing us the necessary tools to move forward. We will continue to use them. I would highly recommend Frank.
