Sit Means Sit

I came to Sit Means Sit almost a year ago because the program I obtained and was training my service dog puppy through had closed, leaving everyone stranded in their training. I had tried classes at 4Paws and a couple at PetSmart. My dog is smart, but his energy was just insane (Ashitaka is a standard poodle). I met with a trainer and explained our situation and they met my dog. We talked about my needs, Ashi's needs, and the training I needed help with. I enrolled him in the 4-week intensive class/group classes package. I felt comfortable with the trainers and their methods, and the support of the facility. Steve and his crew are wonderful. They are passionate about dogs and helping owners learn how to be a team with their dogs. My dog went from out of control, hyper, and non-focused to calm, reliable, gentle, and he is finally able to reach his service dog potential. We would not be where we are today without Sit Means Sit in our lives.
