If you look at the Sit Means Sit San Antonio Training reviews, you will see my full review, but I wanted to leave one for this site (Cibolo) in particular because they are so outstanding! I have three Labrador Retrievers and they are essentially my children haha. My first two had completed the training but we did day programs, meaning they didn’t stay over at the facility or anything. My dogs are so spoiled that they had never been boarded in their lives, and for my oldest lab, he went six years without being boarded. I would always have somebody stay at my home. I then ran into a situation where I just could not find anybody to watch them and I decided to do board and review for my oldest two. The facility, the trainers, the staff, and everything about the experience was absolutely wonderful! They knew I was nervous about leaving them, so they sent me updates. I set up a lesson at the end of the boarding so that I could work on how to walk two big dogs and manage two clickers at the same time (I for sure recommend working on this with the trainers if you have multiple dogs that have gone through the program!). When I got my youngest lab, I was so happy with the care that my other dogs had received at Cibolo that I sent him for sleep away board and train for almost 2 weeks! Even though I missed him like crazy, I knew that he was in great hands. I happened to be going out of town during that time anyway, so my middle lab stayed for part of the duration for board and review. When I picked him up, I wasn’t permitted to see my baby dog because they were concerned it could cause issues in his training since he still had a few days left. They explained everything to me so that I understood and felt comfortable, and when I picked him up on his last day of training, I could not have been happier that I put him through the program and listened to the experts! He is hands-down the best trained dog that I have ever seen (even better than my other 2), apart from the trainers’ personal dogs of course! The trainers and staff really care for your dogs like they are their own, and they often bring their own dogs to help with the training!! If you do the board and train or board and review, don’t worry about your pups—the team is not working them too aggressively/hard, and they have plenty of downtime and time to just play.
