We’ve noticed almost a complete 180 in our dog since taking him back to Sit Means Sit to work with their behaviorist for two weeks. Austin, I cannot thank you enough! Our pup was so perpetually terrified of life that we were convinced we’d have to rehome him with a family that had the finances, time, and capacity to make him whole. We were genuinely concerned about his ability to live a healthy, thriving life in the busy, noisy neighborhood we live in. Every time he walked outside our apartment, his heart raced like he was under attack. Everything was a threat! And he started aggressively responding to people and other dogs out of fear. His little system was overloaded, and as we managed our own health concerns, we weren’t sure what to do. Then, Sit Means Sit stepped in again! They worked on our little guy’s confidence, and immediately we saw a shirt. They’ve encouraged us to attend group classes, and we are starting today! We know those classes will help Beau to keep building confidence. But here’s our biggest joy: since Beau returned from working with Sit Means Sit, we’ve been able to take him on walks with us for at least 30 minutes almost every day for the last two months. Before working with Sit Means Sit for a second time, we could barely get 5 minutes up the road with Beau. It was exhausting and beyond unpleasant. We are deeply thankful to God for finding this business, which truly stands by its work and has so generously blessed us with its expertise and support! Thank you to all the trainers at Sit Means Sit! Beau is going to be just fine! And we’ll keep working. ❤️
