Sit Means Sit Dog Training

My rescue pup did the 2 week board and train. He went there as a super anxious and reactive dog with no obedience (who was also horrible on walks) and came out a completely different dog. I am so beyond pleased with the results. I can actually enjoy walks with my dog now and can take him into public settings without him completely shutting down. Most shockingly, I don’t even need to hold onto his leash when we go on walks because he stays right by my side and actually pays attention to me now. Rodney and Sam are the absolute best and are super transparent about what they do, how they do it, and the amount of effort you will have to put in after the training with them is over. I have recommended them to many people I know because of how pleased I am. If you are struggling to wonder if it is worth the money, I am here to say that it was the best thing I have spent my money on.

My dog is a rescue. She had issues with other dogs and people. She was always jumping, licking, and thinking impulsively. She was boarded and trained for two weeks and we came home with a better dog. Her personality is still the same but she behaves so much better. It was a win win for us. She was given the training and we were given the tools to ensure her success at home and improve her quality of life.

We feel confident taking him out in public, which is something we never thought would be possible before. The trainers were knowledgeable, patient, and clearly cared about our dog’s success. On top of the training, they also offer boarding for vacations and weekly classes, which is a huge bonus and helps reinforce everything he’s learned. We are beyond grateful for the progress our dog has made and highly recommend Sit Means Sit to anyone struggling with reactivity or behavior issues. They truly gave us our dog—and our peace of mind—back.
