SMS did wonders for my rescue! I decided to do the day train program and after the first session I could already see a huge difference in Weasley’s behavior. The trainers at SMS(especially Jenn) took the time to get to know Weasley as an individual and worked on his specific needs such as potty and crate training and followed it up with harder commands such as leave it and wait. After graduation from the day train program, we are now attending group classes where Weasley gets to be around other dogs and show off everything he’s learned. SMS has allowed me to feel much more confident in taking him out places and meeting other people/dogs! I highly recommend SMS to anyone looking to improve their dog’s behavior or their relationship with their dog!

Such a terrific place… from the initial assessment to the private training sessions everything was personalized and tailored to our own specific needs! Alex and his team are skilled professionals who truly care about both the animal and their owners and trainer Teresa is a gem who managed to instill confidence and obedience in us with great love, patience and kindness and even ease all of our fears and worries ! We certainly made a life long connection and are looking forward to the group sessions now….Highly recommend !!

I can't say enough amazing things about Hayley and the team at Sit Means Sit! From the moment we started working with her, everything changed for the better — not just for our dogs, but for our entire family. Hayley is incredibly patient, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about what she does. She took the time to really understand each of our dogs' personalities and challenges. We have two very different pups — Hamilton, who is shy and timid, and Buckeye, who’s energetic, playful, and tends to bark at everything. Hayley created a customized training plan that truly brought out the best in both of them. What stood out most was her ability to communicate not just with our dogs, but with us. But then Hayley came to our home, worked with us in our own environment, and identified his specific triggers. She walked us through exactly how to use corrections and rewards in real time, and it was a total game-changer. I was finally able to walk Buckeye by myself with a new sense of control and confidence. After just a few corrections using the techniques Hayley taught us, we saw major improvements. Now, we're looking forward to group classes to reinforce all the tools Hayley gave us — this time with more distractions and new challenges to keep building our progress. We adopted Jolene from Fulton County Animal Control. We knew nothing of her background just that she was going to be euthanized that night and we needed to save her. It was pretty clear right away she had had no training and possibly not used to living inside. Thanks to Sit Means Sit and Jen she is now SO MUCH BETTER! We can walk her without having our arms yanked out and she is listening to commands like never before! We will be taking advantage of the group classes to further her education which is a big plus.
