One of our biggest training philosophies is tackling any training issue at the root of the problem, which is usually away from the home under distracting environments. That being said, we encourage both private and group training sessions at our facility or in a public setting that we refer to as “field trips”! Yes, we do! Depending on your dog's current skill level, we will usually begin with on-leash training around distractions until you feel confident in your dog’s recall training. The trainers are amazing, and everyone there is always so friendly. They greet you every time and make you feel really welcome.
I also love that it’s more than just training. We can do daycare, boarding, get them washed, and Eva even had her first swimming lesson. Both dogs always come back home happy and tired (in a good way).
Just a great place all around. Highly recommend!

My dog is in the middle of his 2 week board and train and I just finished the first class we got to take together. He is a completely different dog! His baseline was very dominant with people and aggressive with other dogs. Today he was staying in a sit, slack on a long leash, and looking calmly at me in a room while 2 other dogs roamed around. That never ever could have happened if it weren’t for his training here. I’ve never seen my dog so comfortable around new people, much less new dogs. I’ve been so limited in where I can take him and what I can do with him but only 5 days in I can already see what it’s going to be like when I can have him on a restaurant patio. I recommend this program emphatically, my expectations are far exceeded.

We’ve had a really great experience with Sit Means Sit. We did their board and train program with our three dogs, and it made a huge difference. The trainers worked with each of them based on their personalities, and we could see the improvement right away when they came home.
What we really liked is that it didn’t just stop there; we’ve kept going to the weekly trainings, and they’ve helped a lot with keeping everything consistent and continuing their progress. The trainers are always helpful and take the time to answer questions.
Overall, it’s has been a really positive experience. We’d definitely recommend Sit Means Sit.
