Sit Means Sit Dog Training Atlanta

My dog is 11 weeks and this was their puppy class. This was my first time there and my dog Sadie's second class. I reluctantly attended the class with my wife (my best friend ever, sorry Sadie). At first I thought it was going to be a cheesy, lame experience. I was pleasantly surprised with the time and attention the trainer was able to give each dog and their owner. In my opinion she was extremely knowledgeable, professional, patient and kind. Not only do they tell you what to do to train your dog, they show you. If your dog is struggling to listen, they'll assist you. They also give you materials to take home for "homework", which I panicked when I heard that word, but it was for my dog and not for an essay on Monday. The materials are very helpful if you truly want to "train" you dog. In addition to all the great things I've mentioned, they also have items they suggest to purchase to assist your dog in learning and they have some of the items there, which are at reasonable prices. I appreciate the pricing and the fact they only suggest items based on your dog and they're not pushy. It's clear they're goal is to help pet owners and their animals and not fatten their pockets. Don't get me wrong, business MUST make money, and I'll support local over online ordering any day I forget the trainer's name, which is frustrating because she deserves recognition and a sincere thank you. Can they train my Sadie to be a ninja, probably not. Obedience and intelligence appears to be their strength at Sit Means Sit and I'm pretty impressed.

I could honestly go on and on about this facility. We sent our Boykin Spaniel here for a 2 week program. When I tell you I could not believe the improvement she made within that two weeks, I am seriously amazed. We had some concerns with some health issues she has but all the Staff was so knowledgeable and willing to listen to us that it put our minds straight at ease with leaving our girl. They updated us daily during her stay and sent pictures which was the absolute best! We still have a little ways to go to get her where we want her but the staff and her trainer Caitlyn have shown so much patience and kindness with us. My favorite part is when we went back for our very first one-on-one session Wren was so excited to see everyone again. Life long clients for sure!

Amazing place! My boyfriend and I sent our Frenchie to the 3 weeks program after having some issues with aggression and reactiveness. She came back with a whole different attitude and so many new skills. They kept us updated almost daily with pictures and detailed notes. We missed our pup, but she was in great hands! We do still have some work to do with her as we figure out her triggers, but they are so flexible working with her and have showed Ms. River so much love and care! We’re very thankful for the team, especially Jade, who has worked with her and us so well! Excited to continue to work on our pup with the team! Definitely would recommend it to anyone struggling with the same issues.

We signed up our cava-poo puppy for dog training. Jade did great with Teddy as well as teaching myself and our kids. It is a family job having a dog and Jade did a great job working with Teddy and us. Teddy learned so much that we use daily such as leash training for walks, sit, stay, place, and meeting new people. He also enjoyed being socialized with other dogs and people during his day trains. After the day trains were over, we met for lessons at the park. thanks!
