Sit Means Sit Dog Training Aurora-Parker

My Australian Shepherd Tundra started developing behaviors that were not good at all and things he never used to do. Unfortunately, I noticed it a lot more once he was neutered. He became reactive and taking him out gave me so much anxiety.i did what i could but quickly realized i needed help. I did research on so many places, but I’m extremely happy we landed here. All of the trainers are great. They really understand that each dog is so different and tailor what they teach around it. We worked specifically with Donovan and he was so great! I could tell he truly cares for each dog and wants both owner and dog to be successful. After day 1 I noticed a huge difference in Tundra and by week 4 our bond was so much better and he was a much happier dog. The bond between my 8 year old and him is so much better too. We graduated a couple of weeks ago, but every day I notice Tundra getting more of his confidence back, it’s amazing to see. I really cannot thank the team enough. He turns 1 tomorrow 3/8 and I have all the confidence I can take him into the pet store to pick his own treat, as my other two dogs do on their bdays. I 100% recommend them and will definitely be back. Invest in your dog, don’t give up. It’s worth it.

I can’t say enough great things about the trainers at this location - Tessa, Donovan, & DJ! I rescued a pup named lily and they helped me learn so much in creating a foundation for good habits, bahavior, and overall training. They helped me as an owner have more confidence and I am so happy that lily and I were able to learn from the best of the best. Sit Means Sit has made a WORLD of a difference in my pup. Before going in, he would pull at the leash to the point of choking himself out. Our main trainer, DJ taught him to not pull at the leash and how to stay seated for a long time. We recently went to a patio and he was so well behaved. I never thought I would be able to take him anywhere. Thank you to everyone at Sit Means Sit. All of you were very kind and Mochi misses y’all!

We took our little girl, Bella, to this location and worked with Donovan for our training. Bella was a rescue, having spent over a year on the streets and another 2 years in various foster homes, so she had a whole host of nervous tendencies and was very fearful of humans, especially men. Through the course of this training, we not only gained a better ability to have her listen to our commands, but was also able to have her gain more confidence in herself, which is evident based on her much calmer interactions with people. She is significantly less nervous and as we continue to work with her, we only see more and more improvement. Donovan was fantastic to work with. He was able to make the training sessions light and fun while still guiding us and Bella very effectively. Additionally, he made himself available at any time for questions or concerns on our end. 100% would recommend Sit Means Sit and Donovan to anyone looking for effective training for their dog.
