We are saddened to hear about the continued struggles you and Artemis face with her anxiety. We must, however, address the serious allegation of mistreatment you've raised. It is essential to clarify that such claims are not only unfounded but also constitute defamation. From the beginning, it was clear that Artemis was experiencing significant anxiety, demonstrated by her reluctance to even accept treats and continued shaking in her consultation prior to us even touching her. This was discussed during your initial consultation, with you present, and observed during her day with us. Despite these challenges, we made efforts to introduce play and affection into her routine, which you had indicated might be problematic due to her anxiety. To ensure you were fully informed about Artemis's condition and our care, we provided updates through videos, photographs, and phone calls throughout her stay. This level of transparency was intended to reassure you of her well-being and the care we were providing. Our clients are also more than welcome to stop by or visit their dogs at ANY point during their time with us– we have an open door policy. We offered to downgrade your package to a one-on-one package where you are present and responsible for all of your dog's training-- so you would be in direct control of the input going into your dog-- to which, you declined. You expressed a desire to continue working with us via email, specifically requesting that we avoid using an e-collar, which suggests a level of trust in our methods despite your claims. We also agreed to continue working with you sans e-collar via email. This request, juxtaposed with your abuse allegations, prompts us to question the basis of your accusations. Following your threat of legal action, we sent a dissolution contract– this is not our norm in parting ways with clients (you were the outlier). However, your emails lead to us processing a refund without requiring a dissolution contract (again not our norm), in good faith, and wished you success in your future training endeavors. We want to reiterate that at NO point did we physically harm Artemis or immediately “hit her as hard as possible” or use it punitively with her. Our goal has always been the welfare and happiness of the pets in our care. Although we strive to meet all our clients' needs, it is impossible to please everyone. We cannot engage with individuals who threaten legal action or levy unfounded accusations against us. We respectfully request you remove your libelous accusations of abuse as this is bordering on dangerous legal ground for both of us. We continue to wish the best for Artemis and suggest that consulting a behavior specialist might be beneficial for her. If anyone reading this wishes to see more about Artemis's time with us, we are willing to provide additional video evidence upon request.
