I can't believe it's taken me this long to write this review because it's long overdue! Working with Heather has been one of the best investments we've made for Millie. She took the time to truly get to know her, appreciated her personality, and worked with the dog she was instead of trying to make her something she wasn't. It was so obvious how much Heather genuinely cared about Millie and that made all the difference. The progress Millie has made has been incredible. She is so much more confident, well behaved, and enjoyable to take everywhere. The training gave us the tools and confidence to continue working with her at home, and it's completely changed our day-to-day life with her. We've unfortunately missed following up with the group classes recently due to some personal challenges, but we're so excited to get back because they will be a valuable tool in continuing her training. Heather, thank you for everything you've done for Millie and for us. Your patience, knowledge, and genuine love for dogs shine through in everything you do. We are so grateful for the time and care you invested in our girl, and we recommend you to anyone looking for a trainer who truly wants to see them succeed.

We had a fantastic experience with Sit Means Sit. The “bad boy” behavior our 2 year old rescue was showing after 1 month of adopting him consisted of leash pulling, lunging/barking at other dogs and people on walks, resource guarding people, and doing everything on his own terms. Heather and the entire team did a fantastic job at helping us set boundaries, teach basic obedience skills, and help build confidence in our dog so he knows he doesn’t have to make his own decisions. We learned that his “bad boy” behavior is really him being a ~spicy terrier~, who is very capable of being smart, obedient, and happy!
