Lucy, At no point did we refuse to respond or state that we would not issue a refund. For those reading, she has received her refund, and we have receipts showing that the refund was returned, as per the contract guidelines. The email sent on the 12th, which was cut off and not fully displayed, was not requesting a refund; it was a question about one of our other programs, where she states, "She tends to be overdramatic." Our operations were closed that week for an educational seminar held out of state, so we were not answering emails; however, we were still fielding and responding to calls and texts as normal, as these are the primary sources of communication for our clients. We called and left a voicemail to address her questions a few days later and she never returned the call. In fact, there were zero calls or texts from her during that week. It was not until Monday, 10/20 (her photos do not show the date) that an email regarding a work-related move and refund was mentioned, at which time our office was closed. Our hours of operation are full-spectrum, as we provide a range of services, including daycare, boarding, and training, which run over Monday; however, our office staff does not work 6 days a week. The office is closed on Sunday and Monday. Despite that, our office reached out to her the following day (within 24 hours) to inform her that ownership was not in, and that we would be in contact as soon as possible. Not even 24 hours later this review was left. At no point did we refuse to communicate or refuse to provide a refund. A voicemail was left and was then unreturned, and we then answered promptly to the refund email. Unfortunately, in doing so, she was incredibly hostile, yelling, cursing, and calling us names over the phone, which I have a recorded call of. We noticed on her page that leaving frequent 1-star reviews is a popular action for this particular client, which is clear based on the threat above "I'll be sure to blast you". She said things like "you are lame as (f word) and other slang not tolerated by the business. As a final note none of our reviews our fake hence the graduation photos of families with their pups at our facility so I am not sure why that comment was made, as well as, the comment about "read the contract" as the contract is reviewed verbally section by section with every single client and an immediate copy is sent to their email for their review on site before they even leave the building and we do have free Wifi so that is simply untrue. As a business owner, you learn that you cannot please everyone all the time, but we strive to do so, regardless. We do this educational seminar once every 2 years for just a few days and we have never had an issue or client act this impatiently over a question in an email. A general rule of 48-72 hours is best practice to return a refund request, which was adhered to. It sounds like this person was scammed in the past, which made her very aggressive in reaching out to us, fearing that we would not honor the request. As someone who has been there, I understand that fear; however, it is no reason to project this negativity and rudeness onto our staff who work tirelessly for the organization. We are a family-run business with young children, and there is nothing we would not do for our family, which includes our clients, staff, and all the wonderful dogs we get to work with. We pride ourselves on our customer service and feel that we promptly and respectfully rectified the issue. We are happy to discuss this with anyone who asks, as we are an open book and have nothing but love and gratitude to give to our current and future clients. I appreciate anyone who takes the time to read this and hope they see the honesty and transparency put forth in the response. Thank you!
