Sit Means Sit Dog Training Chicago

Amazing! Zeus has become a different dog after training with Sit Means Sit. He actually listens to me instead of looking and then ignoring me. He no longer has a fit over the vacuum cleaner, doesn't knock people over or jump all over them when they come into the house, doesn't run out the door when it's opened, the list goes on! Ryan is a fantastic trainer and everyone has noticed how well behaved Zeus is now, thank you!

I have had 3 dogs for the past 5 years that were apparently naturally proper as household guests and roommates. About a year ago, I decided to add an addition to our family in the form of our mini pincher, Emilio. Although, the dogs I previously had were naturally sociable and house trained, Emilio demonstrated an issue described by my veterinarian as "fear issue" with all other people and animals outside of his household. Which included constant barking at noise within our apartment building and hiding underneath the couch when guests were over, accompanied with wining and barking. After a year of our own attempts by reading basic dog training online we were unable to control his behavior. This made it difficult to have guests and go on walks in the neighborhood. We became weary that he would never overcome his "fear". After our own efforts we were exhausted we decided to search online for a dog training service and contacted Alexa at SIt Means Sit. Alexa came over and explained how the Sit Means Sit program works. Not only by coaching Emilio but also our own behavior towards maintaining training. Her reassurance and genuine skill and desire to get our Emilio to gain appropriate behavioral skills were not only effective but incredibly appreciated!! We recently were able to have guests over and not only was Emilio able to accept treats from our guests, but also able to sit on the lap of the most familiar guest. We realize that this is a work in progress, but compared to his behavior before working with Sit Means Sit, Emilio has behaved so drastically different. We can not emphasize enough how much and how quickly his behavior has changed. I highly recommend their help to anyone that needs assistance with their furry loved ones.
