Hello Amanda, <br>Thank you for taking the time to write out a review. We would just like to touch on a couple things. 1st your head in hand heel(HIH). HIH is typically a stepping stone to build positioning and then transition to a heads up heel with attention and engagement. With your dog we were able to captivate that attention and engagement. You can see this in the video that we sent over to you on 9-5-22. Maybe go back and watch that again. There you can see that one of our trainers dogs was heeling your dog while your dog was looking up to the trainer. You will also see the attention up during the distractions. The core skills that we utilize are also all shown in that video. So we're just slightly confused as to why you think place and taking cute photos was the only things we taught. We will happily send you that link again if you maybe have misplaced it as it looks like it was only viewed once. As far as communication you are absolutely correct. We definitely prefer email over phone communication. This really allows both our clients and I to have a reference to everything that we went over as most of the time we are giving instructions on how to do things. You may be familiar with this as we did these exact practices with you. You had sent an email on 7-24-23 at 1AM and we had an answer for you within two hours of our office opening at 10:53AM. This allowed you to have a reference guide to the questions that you presented. So we have to disagree with being bad a communicating, maybe just not the communication style that you prefer. We have just found much better success with email for the reasons stated above. We can completely empathize with your frustration with our group class schedule. We are frustrated as well. We had our group classes on the weekends for a long while. However, we have seen a drastic decline in reservations and also cancellations on our weekend classes. We typically would have 7 spots available for each of those classes, we typically had 4 on Saturday. However we were getting down to 2 - 3 reservations and out of those we would have 1-2 cancel. Which you might understand as one out of the two classes that you had reserved you cancelled. This made it impossible for us to continue to offer the weekend classes. We do have 6 classes currently scheduled per week. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursdays at 7PM and 7:30PM. With this change we have seen almost always full classes and reservations. With us being a staff of three people we have to be able to allocate time accordingly and unfortunately those reasons have stopped us from having those weekend classes. Your statement of we dont do home visits is just an outright fabrication and its a shame that you would do something like that. We have an email communication, this is another reason we like emailing things, that states specifically "Typically reinforcement lessons are 30minutes but can go up to an hour. We usually will attempt to resolve and replicate the issue at our facility first. If for some reason we are not able to do this we will absolutely set up a reinforcement lesson at your home." We are not quite sure how you could miscommunicate that to not doing in home lessons. On that same note the reinforcement lesson that we had scheduled for you you had cancelled. We understand emergencies happen however you did not reschedule for nearly 6 months. The original lesson scheduled on 10-15-22, which was cancelled, then another lesson on 4-5-2023. We did have an email from you on 7-24-23 as well to address things. Which we responded to that same day. With our lifetime of support we are wondering why so much time would go in between things before reaching out to us? The last communication being a request to board both of your pups. on 7-27-23. We are happy that you have found something that works better for you. We wish you the best in your training success.
