Alexa and Doug took very good care of my dog, I could tell that they both were experienced dog trainers. I have a large one year old german shepherd that at the beginning was very unmanageable. Every week the training that they gave him made him more of the wonderful dog that I hoped he would become. He graduated today from the 5 week training program. I was trained along with my pup so that we were both on the same page of understanding. We are now encouraged to attend weekly group training sessions to further the benefits of Sit Means Sit. Definitely worth the cost, time and experience. Thank you for transforming my dear pup.

I have been a dog owner basically all my life, and from day one, along with our dog Snoop, I learned things I never knew. Alexa was a fantastic trainer. She’s extremely knowledgeable, and was so patient with not just Snoop, but with me as well. There have been significant changes is our once little unruly, 16 month old Shih Poo rescue. I thank, and truly appreciate the staff at Sit Means Sit, and especially Alexa for her knowledge, patience, and kindness. I would highly recommend.

Easily the best training that we have had done. Wish we did this with our previous dog. Doug was Bently's trainer and he was amazing with him. 5 month old puppy that had puppies issues that we wanted to nip in the butt now, not later. The biggest benefit that we had here was that they kept him for the day, worked with him and then spent the time with us on pickup to teach us the lessons that Bentley learned for the day. Each visit introduced more simple commands that we follow, and it just works. Some consider this to be expensive for training, but this was well worth the money and time for the results. Excellent place, excellent people, excellent training, excellent communication, and excellent all-around experience hands down! Thank you guys for the help and experience.

I adopted a 12 week old border collie puppy last January. We started puppy obedience classes right away, at another training place, he totally mastered all the tricks, sit, down, ect., but still wouldn’t listen and was super reactive to anything that moved. So we moved on to a different training class, again somewhere else, with the clicker training and same results, still wouldn’t listen, told “oh it’s just his breed.” I kept looking for someone that might be able to help, I just wanted a good dog that I could take places with me, that’s when I found Sit means Sit. The ecollar seemed scary at first, “omg it’s a shock collar!” It’s not! It’s a great training tool! The price for the program seemed reasonable after breaking it down and looking at the big picture, it’s cheaper than other training courses in the long run. We had already spent over $500 in 4 months going to other programs with no results. After just one day of training at sit means sit, he was like a totally different dog. He was looking at me for direction, staying and not trying to herd anything that moved, actually listening, even when there were squirrels in the yard, and more confident! We are 7 months in to our training at Sit means Sit and so happy we made the decision to go with them. The trainers are knowledgeable and so helpful. They have even come out to my house to help with neighborhood walks!! Highly recommend!! You won’t be disappointed!
