Do you offer training for a week to drop off dog at your location?
Hello Michael, thanks for reaching out! It sounds like you're describing a board & train program which we no longer offer. We have switched over to a day training model which is still immersive like boarding programs but are only 1 day a week for a number of weeks and you have a lesson with your dog at the end of the day training. We have found that day training is a very effective training format to not only fully train your dog, but gives us the opportunity to make sure that owners have all the tools they need to continue with training management, ultimately providing long lasting and reliable results. I will highly recommend sit means sit to anyone I know with a dog that needs training. My 2 and a half year old bully just finished his 4 week training course and I have already seen a BIG difference in his temperament and obedience. The staff has been very patient with my dog broly and his anxiety. They have worked diligently with him and every time I pick him up they have explained thoroughly on what commands to work on at home. My wife and I are beyond pleased with the results we’ve had thus far and we are even getting compliments from friends, family, and the vet. Huge thanks to the staff at sit means sit Northfield. Looking forward to the continued training group classes.

They are kind, professional and compassionate. We highly recommend. We have a highly energetic Belgian Malinois and she has been trained by Sit Means Sit to be a well behaved Service Dog. Doug is amazing! My dog was very nervous of everything and her fear was making her life harder. Now she is able to walk amazingly, be around things that used to terrify her and the vacuum isn’t a monster! She was very protective of the house and now people can come and go no problem. The place command is our new best friend!

The price may scare you, but it’s absolutely worth it! We’ve had four dogs go through the Sit Means Sit program, and we constantly get comments about how well-behaved and well trained they all are! The instructors take the time to make sure that you understand how to speak and guide your dog as well as how to continue training your dog beyond the initial classes. Our 10 month old lab came to us about a month ago. He is a super sweet boy but was not taught any manners and would jump on people out of excitement. We immediately signed him up for Sit Means and Sit and while he’s not perfect, he’s about 98% there! We wouldn’t take our dogs to be trained anywhere else!
