When we reached out to Sit Means Sit, we were pretty desperate, our 7 month old puppy, Corrie, was out of control. We were having talks about re-homing her, but knew she would most likely not be adopted the way she was. Barking, pulling on the lease, chasing cars, jumping, running away, nipping, treating to bite, chewing everything, we did not feel safe letting people in our home. We saw moments of sweetness and felt that it was our responsibility to try everything first, before giving her up. (We had done puppy training and it did not help.) We selected the drop off once a week and have the lesson afterwards. We saw a noticeable difference after the first day of training. I was able to take her for a walk and felt safe. Each week we talked with our trainer about what we would like to have him work on with Corrie, that would make things easier at home. And he listened and worked hard with her. Now, Corrie is the sweetest dog. She is loving and cuddly and empathetic. She is playful and a wonderful member of our family. There are somethings that she still needs to work on, but we all have things to work on. I truly feel that Sit Means Sit saved her life. And gave my family, especially my kids a wonderful pet.
