Our puppy (Stella) was trained by Sit Means Sit in Des Moines, by Ryan and Emily. They both did a wonderful job, and we highly recommend them. Our puppy was evaluated, then participated in Private Dog Training in our home, then Day Camp Training. Ryan and Emily are fun, engaging, professional and very skilled in the art of dog training. The prices were the best we've seen, and were all inclusive of the supplies we would need. We are looking forward to the group classes, which are also included. I am very happy to experience the services of trainers Ryan and Emily at the dog training business in Urbandale Iowa ( Sit Means Sit) . My new puppy is learning so many things and so am I. The techniques are simple but effective and the hands-on training sessions are professional. I highly recommend this business to new dog owners and previous dog owners. I wish I would have known about this business with my previous dogs but so glad to know of it now. My confidence in raising a new puppy has been restored thanks to Ryan and Emily and their demonstrations and guidance and vast knowledge of dog behavior.

I've had the privilege of meeting Emily last year at NePoPo training school and have kept in touch with her since. Although I am not a client of Emily's as I am pursuing training myself, I've had the pleasure of witnessing her growth behind closed doors. In the time I have known Emily, we've had several conversations that are far more intricate than what a client would normally have with a trainer. I've come to discover her story and the reasoning behind why she pursued training, more specifically service dogs. Emily's commitment towards creating avenues for accessibility in her community is absolutely commendable, and I personally feel she is doing herself a disservice by not publicly disclosing her philanthropist efforts. If you have a moment and are curious, I encourage you to inquire. She is truly a humble character. If you are considering training with Emily, I promise you will not be disappointed. Not only does she maintain her ethics and values dedicating her time towards continuing education, she motivates her colleagues to do the same (I am speaking from experience)
