I rescued my dog Jazz from a shelter and he’s had anxiety and trust issues from his previous situation. I did my best to try to get him acclimated to other people and dogs but he’s been a timid, anxious, and nervous dog since I’ve had him. Fast forward to his consult with Mindy and she assured us that once he got through his training, he will be a new dog. We had 6 one on one sessions and was recommended to have Jazz in a muzzle. The first session, we brought him in with the muzzle on, he soaked in much of the training but was still pretty closed off to the trainers. Second session, we brought him back in, muzzle on, he was opening up to the trainers even more. The third session, we brought him in, muzzle on, trainers said that they took off his muzzle and were able to have him around them and other dogs. The last 3 sessions, we took him in without his muzzle on and he did amazing! He was so receptive to their training and even did well on their field trips! He’s finished with his one on one sessions and we are proud to say that Jazz is definitely a new dog!!! Everyone at Sit Means Sit are amazing! Thank you to Mindy, Emily, and Rebecca for being patient and working with Jazz! Highly recommend them for training!

SCAM! Beware. First of all, my dog is a pre-trained dog. Australian Shepherd, very intelligent and easy to train breed. I took him to that place only for pulling on the leash when he saw another dog and anxiety when he met a new dog. I couldn't help my dog by myself because I had no other dogs to meet. Mindy will convince you with a long conversation. She is a good salesperson. She will not train your dog or even communicate to the trainers why you brought your dog with them. After 4 days of training (where most of the time the dog was in the crate) and having a large amount of money stolen from me, my dog is worse. The SHOCK collar is painful and very uncomfortable. It broke his skin the first day, and they will say is an allergic reaction to the shock. Yeap. The salesperson (Mindy) will tell you that they use the low number on the collar but it is not true. They will train YOU to use the collar whatever number it takes to get the dog to look.

My dog learned so much in just 6 lessons. I can now go for a walk with her and actually enjoy the experience with her.
