Yes, we have group classes for those who have completed a SMS training program. These classes help you to continue and follow through on your dog’s training. Also, our Group Classes are a great way to socialize your dog.

Yes, they do. Once you complete the basics you go to group class so your dog so do speak gets used to different experiences, people, other dogs, and still have a successful life around every day life situations. It is amazing, and it's right on where your dog's needs are worked on (not individually necessarily) along with the others in the class. You can ask questions and review the videos on your individual dog train. It's really good!
How do you train a dog not to be aggressive to other dogs
Yes, my dog was very reactive to people and dogs. He still is to some degree but SMS has helped a GREAT deal and given excellent insight on how do deal in different situations. Keep in mind that this is continuous process; does not get resolved overnight. They worked on other issues as well at the same time. I would highly recommend them.

My bichon had a serious issue with resource guarding so, I contacted Sit Means Sit (SMS) as a last resort.
We were put with Alex as our trainer.
Alex, is worth his weight in gold. He sat and talked with me after each session about any new issues or concerns I had with Otis. He was/is great with explaining not just how but, why we were teaching each new command to Otis.
It only took a couple of sessions before Otis and I had the the resources we needed to work through his issues. We are currently participating in the group training, and he's doing great. I no longer have anxiety about taking Otis around other dogs.
I realize some people have issues using the ecollar, and so did I at first. Especially since Otis was such a small dog. Please let me put your mind at ease. The collar DOES NOT HURT. If it did, Otis wouldn't let me put it on him as easily as he does. It doesn't shock your dog. It's more of a tingle sensation, just enough to get their attention and letting the dog know you mean business. Again, if it hurt him, he wouldn't let me put it on him so easily.
Don't hesitate to contact SMS for your dog's training, but you will come away with a more obedient, confident dog.

We had Marty as our trainer. He did a fantastic job with our dog, Miles. I appreciate his patience with us (the elderly humans) 😁. Marty knows his stuff and it helped that he has a great sense of humor. I am looking forward to continuing on with group classes to keep me honing my skills with Miles.

I used Sit Means Sit for a reactive dog I had many years ago. They did such a great job that I knew when I had another dog, I would come back. We recently adopted a new dog, he is an 8 month old pitbull. We were having trouble with pulling while walking, jumping on people, and mouthing hands a lot. His trainer was Marty and he did such a great job!! He went above and beyond for us. I came in for the trainings with my toddler in his stroller as I did not have a sitter. For the last day of training, Marty worked on teaching my dog how to walk with a stroller so that I could have easier, nicer walks with him. I’m so thankful for that! Marty was always professional and kind during the meetings as well. And I could tell my dog liked him too!

Sit means sit did a fantastic job of helping me get my dog trained and well behaved. Marty the trainer did an excellent job of training my dog and also teaching us how to train the dog as well. Every meeting was professional and friendly. I can't say thank you enough to Marty for traing my dog!
