Yes, we have group classes for those who have completed a SMS training program. These classes help you to continue and follow through on your dog’s training. Also, our Group Classes are a great way to socialize your dog.

Yes, they do. Once you complete the basics you go to group class so your dog so do speak gets used to different experiences, people, other dogs, and still have a successful life around every day life situations. It is amazing, and it's right on where your dog's needs are worked on (not individually necessarily) along with the others in the class. You can ask questions and review the videos on your individual dog train. It's really good!
How do you train a dog not to be aggressive to other dogs
Yes, my dog was very reactive to people and dogs. He still is to some degree but SMS has helped a GREAT deal and given excellent insight on how do deal in different situations. Keep in mind that this is continuous process; does not get resolved overnight. They worked on other issues as well at the same time. I would highly recommend them.

I would HIGHLY recommend Sit Means Sit to anyone in the Frederick, Maryland area in need of dog training. My wife and I brought our very energetic and compulsive dog here, and they were able to turn her behavior around. They gave us plenty of tools to continue the work at home, and made managing her a complete joy. We had no idea that our dog was capable of such restraint. Previously she was jumping all over guests and pulling excessively on the leash. Not only was that behavior addressed, but she is now comfortable with crates and we can manage/redirect her attention safely even in the presence of her biggest distractions.
Cole is an incredible trainer. He gave us clear and concise feedback during every session. He was happy to answer questions, and made sure to focus on our key concerns. Thanks Cole for giving us the gift of a manageable dog, especially with the newborn we had on the way!
The staff was wonderful as well. Five stars, please go to them if you need help with your dog.

The results of the training have been truly exceptional. Our puppy has not only mastered his commands but has also become so much easier especially the pulling on the leash issue. The improvement in his behavior was noticeable after every single training day, which brought immense happiness and relief to us. Alex's skills and talents as a trainer are super. We will forever value the strong, positive relationship he developed with our frisky and active puppy during the process. We also want to recognize the entire staff. From the moment we entered your facility to the time we left, we always felt genuinely appreciated. The Director of Day Camp (and front desk staff) deserve a special thanks too for always greeting us and welcoming our pup so warmly, especially during those early morning drop-offs. The consistent kindness shown to all of us made the entire experience wonderful. Thank you!

Cole did an amazing job with a limited time. He trained and gave me the confidence to take Willow on our vacation to Florida where I needed to have her under control. She did amazing and I enjoyed our walks around the neighborhood and in the park. We even took her out trick or treating with Lacey for Halloween. We had a Hotdog and Corndog.

Cole was an exceptional trainer for puppy as well as her mom. He explained new concepts clearly and made working with my new puppy a fun experience.
