Hi Vivianne, We are so happy you wrote a review. Since it’s been over a year and a half since you signed up for training, it’s possible that you may have forgotten our interactions together but luckily we have written and recorded proof and time stamped dates of every interaction and conversation together. We’d be happy to refresh your memory. Firstly, we never had a voiced concern, complaint, worry, unease or disagreement about the quality of the training you received. The accusation that your dog vomitted and soiled herself at the first lesson is absolutely false and never happened while we were there. You were not even in attendance for the first lesson. If this happened after the lesson, at home, we were never made aware until this review. It was never brought to our attention at any point in time, even through the months of many conversations. You had zero concerns or comments regarding the training. Your request for a refund was never due to lack of training ability or that your “dogs didn’t do well”. The request for a refund was because you (direct email quote) “are having some scheduling issues and would like to ask for a refund”. Because we had already started training with your dogs, our policy is that we do not offer refunds. Your husband agreed to this policy at the first lesson, which again, you weren’t there for. This is the case for most dog trainers in the industry. Information is not something we can “take back” and there was no fault on our end to justify a refund. In fact, we offered to you everything we could to help your dogs become successful in lieu of a refund. We offered to extend our working hours, to travel to your home, would never let your training expire and even offered to do extra lessons at no extra expense to you. We were willing and tried everything in our power to accommodate you. Secondly, you missed 6 appointments either needing to reschedule the same day, contacting us after your appointment time already passed or often no called/no-showed. Even though we send out reminder texts and emails in advance- these were ignored or you had confirmed yet did not show. In addition, even though against our policy, once we learned about your family situation, which was not disclosed to us until much later…We DID offer you a partial refund for the unused training and YOU denied and refused it as you wanted more and didn’t want to pay for our time. After we exhausted all of our options and went above and beyond to satisfy your requests and even offered a refund…our last conversation ended with we were still willing to help you with your dogs. We’re sorry for all your family is going through but your personal circumstances are not our financial responsibility. Our obligation has always been to your dog’s training and success, which we have made every effort to fulfill that obligation. So with no fault of our own and doing everything we could to remedy the situation, we are still sad to see it didn’t work out. We wish you and your family the best.
