Sit Means Sit Dog Training Licking Valley

They have been a lifesaver! In December, we bought a 6 month old German Shepherd named Rocco. He did not come from the best kennel environment. The breeder accidentally breed too many puppies at the same time and had about 30 puppies at once. He was kept in about a 6’ x 10’ kennel with seven other puppies who were all covered in mud and feces. I’ve never purchased an older puppy before but I have had German Shepherds, Dobermans, Rottweilers, Chows, and Shar peis that I’ve never had a problem training. Rocco is not like any dog I’ve ever had before he is an extremely stubborn strong willed dog. He was bulldozing his way through the house, knocking over the children, chasing the cat, breaking everything, and pooping and peeing all over the house. He’s not extremely treat driven and he is unlike my other dogs who have thrived on praise. After having him for about a month, I realized that I needed help. We have a 2 and 3 year old in the house and with him already 70lbs at 6 months old someone was bound to get hurt. We consulted with a few trainers in the area and Rick and Erica were the best fit. They were able to answer all of our questions and even gave us a few suggestions before we got started. We did the “Fast and the Furriest” three day training. Rocco has been so much better since going through the training. Honestly, without it I don’t know what I would have done. He’s actually controllable now and using the place command and some of the techniques they taught us he’s been doing a lot better with his potty training. I highly recommend them!
