I cannot thank Sit Means Sit enough for the life-changing experience they gave me and my dog. I started training because my dog, an XL dog at 130 lbs, was extremely reactive—and honestly, my anxiety was through the roof. My Apple Watch would show my heart rate spiking after even a regular walk with him. I walked into the office not knowing what to expect, only knowing we desperately needed help if we were going to stay together. From day one, the team was patient, non-judgmental, and incredibly supportive—not only with my dog, but also with me. They were able to calm me down when my anxiety was high, and they gave me confidence that we could do this. Josh, our trainer, was absolutely awesome—straightforward (no sugarcoating, which I appreciated), patient with all my questions, and always made sure we left knowing exactly what to practice. The transformation has been amazing. Before, my dog was so reactive that we couldn’t even go on walks. Today, he’s completely different—attentive, calm on a loose leash, and able to focus on me instead of every distraction. Now we not only go on walks, but can sit peacefully together at the park. I also really appreciated the group classes. They were welcoming, supportive, and never judgmental of either the dogs or their owners. The entire staff—from ownership to management to every team member you interact with—is excellent. This training changed our lives. I’m still committed to practicing and building on the progress we’ve made, but I finally feel hopeful and happy walking with my dog again. Thank you, Sit Means Sit, for giving me back my confidence and for helping my dog and I enjoy life together.

Puppy class was a great Basic introduction to care and training. Instructions were very clear and easy to follow. Good start! Group classes are a great way to keep following through with basic commands And good citizenship for your dog. Individual instruction was extremely Important in helping me reach training goals for my dog (Therapy dog). They really showed me what my dog was capable of and helped me with my training techniques. Absolutely worth it!l Strongly recommend Sit Means Sit. for the calm, kind and useful training. They’re helping me to take a rambunctious out of control puppy to well behaved therapy dog!

Everyone at Sit Means Sit is so welcoming! When I brought my 7 month old French Bulldog in for her first obedience class I was blown away by the knowledge, respect, and encouragement that was given at every lesson. I am a hands on learner, I have tried learning how to train my dog online but it just didn’t work. Mike, Brenna and Josh are incredibly good at their jobs and supported both my dog and me during our training sessions. They are so detail oriented and shared their feedback about how I was handling my dog, her leash, the tapper as well as encouraging both of us to understand the why behind every command. It’s not only training your dog to be a well behaved dog, it’s learning how you and your dog can communicate which builds a stronger bond with your fur baby. I’m so grateful for this experience and look forward to more training in group classes and one on one lessons. Thank you!
