We understand that taking in a rescue dog with an unknown background can be incredibly challenging, especially while balancing work, family, and a busy schedule. That said, we are sorry to hear you left feeling discouraged, as we did see good progress during training and were unaware that you were unhappy with the program. The remote collar is intended to be a communication tool that helps create clarity and consistency, not a permanent dependency. Like any training program, whether through us or another company, owner involvement and follow through at home are essential for long term success. Many of our clients also live very busy lifestyles, but consistently setting aside time to work with a dog outside of lessons is what ultimately creates lasting results. There is often more work upfront while dogs are learning new expectations and routines, but that effort typically decreases significantly as the dog has a better understanding. We also understand that group classes can feel overwhelming at first. Many of our clients attend regularly and truly enjoy them, which can sometimes make classes larger. Our morning classes are often smaller and can be a better fit for those wanting more individual attention. The group class environment itself is intentional, as it provides valuable real world practice around distractions, people, and other dogs, and our trainers are always happy to step in and help whenever clients ask for guidance during class.
